    I'm thinking of making some HTML pages for each club (kind of like the one edition I released of the Seasonal Rugby Harold last season) but I would like the information to come from each of the clubs rather than me.

    Don't bother with giving me a list of your signings or competition results, but the standard gubbins like:

    President:
    Chairman of Selectors:
    Head of Recruitment:
    Home Ground:
    Club Captain:
    History:

    This isn't a precursor to a stats site or anything, and will only be updated once a season (once the season starts). I'll also probably do pages for each Province myself, but I'm not going to bother if you can't be arsed to give me this info.

    President: Benny Read
    Chairman of Selectors: Benny Read
    Head of Recruitment: Siege Morgan
    Home Ground: The Strip
    Club Captain: Benny Read
    History: Not sure what you want written here, but obviously rookie season, good start to the season, gun forwards, pus backs:p. Inaugaural season going solidly so far.

    Cheers Benny. The more you can write in the history thing, the better.

    Also, another idea would be a capping list.

    I notice the Sharks have already done this, but basically the order in which your players earned a first team starting cap (i.e. people running off the bench only don't get a cap, you have to have started a game to get a cap number). This would also be good for the Provinces and Associate Provinces too.

    Chairman of Selectors:
    Andrew James
    Home Ground: TBA
    Club Captain: Andrew James
    History: After claims of bias and ineptitude towards the selector, James led the team to a convincing cleansweep of the provincial competition in S3 claiming the title for the 'convicts', even with the disadvantage of Hunts goalkicking.

    History: A club founded by the visions of Heef Davis, who tore down the shackles of standard forum simmage and started recruiting players who weren't even on the correct forum to meet his ends. Cricsim's older and more sober sister site has brought forth a side of players who insist they are not just here to make up the numbers - they are also here to deliver a hearty pinching to the nuts of the Cricsim establishment.

    Did the title of this thread always include provincial selectors? Lol @ me if so.

  7. Cevno IV Narang

    Does Asia count as a province yet ?

  8. Jabba HJ Bots

    I will get onto this over the weekend.

    President: EI Morris & J McDougal
    Chairman of Selectors: EI Morris
    Head of Recruitment: EI Morris
    Home Ground: Marine Central Stadium
    Club Captain: J McDougal
    Vice - Verigoat

    History: The Sharks were formed at the start of S3 after the Cheetahs and Giants folded. Originally members CCG and Doog owned the club however Chris (CCG) decided to step down at the end of S3 due to other commitments. It was then agreed between the senior members at the Sharks that Eddie would step up and become president alongside Doog. Despite a controversial start the sharks had a successful first season coming 2nd in the round robin and losing in the final to the Spartans. After a promising first season the Sharks will be looking to push on and win the competition over the next couple of seasons.

  16. Baxter MJ Deane

    President: Marcuss Deane
    Chairman of Selectors: Callum Laing
    Head of Recruitment: Heath Davis
    Home Ground: The Hot Gates
    Club Captain: Marcuss Deane
    History: One of the inaugural four clubs of Seasonal Rugby, and only one of two sides to have participated in every season, the Spartans are a club with a rich history and proud heritage. Having narrowly missed out on the title in their first season, the Spartans lost from their final defeat and bounced back to claim consecutive championships in Seasons 2 and 3. Renowned not only for their on-field excellence, the Spartans are a close-nit unit off the pitch with an unparalleled sense of team spirit, as could be expected from a team with such a name. Season 4 has gotten off to a brilliant start and there's every chance of future success for this magnificent side.

    Caps list :
    To be inserted by Heef.

    Having the background two separate colours doesn't look that great

  19. HeathDavisSpeed HT Davis

    That's just the Spartans club colours though. Those colours were chosen based on that.

    Cap numbers will also be added for those teams that do them (Sharks, Spartans and Gamblors so far)

    Sharks = A royal blue
    Vikings = Grey
    Hurricanes = Not entirely sure - red, black & yellow maybe?
    Crabs = Orange
    Gamblers = Pink & grey

    Yea I guessed, just looks rather weird having the background to the text boxes being one colour and all the gaps filled in. Also, the white on the sides looks weird, maybe make the background colour fill the whole page?
