Sounds beautiful. Any chance of the post ranks though - even if I could get someone else (another admin) to set it up? Would be really important I reckon, as I don't have a Mouseyesque objective way of deciding activity.
Other admins can't set up post ranks, bar possibly Flack if he went digging around in all my code for a few hours, and he definitely isn't going to do that. I can make your post ranks count retrospectively when I add them in, but I'm not doing it until after Season 2. This sim has been an absolutely shambles in general so I'm not going to put any of my time into it until I'm satisfied it's here for the long haul.
Yep, definitely. I'll treat it like a proper sim, try to get Nino to do a logo for the top of the page, advertise it etc. But I'm not doing any of that until (unless?) the end of this season and the whole of Season 2 runs smoothly and without delay. I know you're very capable of running a good competition here, but the question is over whether you have the consistent time, commitment, resources and lasting interest to do it for more than a season or so. One of the reasons I've been very patient with this simulator through several failed attempts is that I know it could be a big selling point for West Australian and South Australian members, and you know how I love my new provinces. It's a big thing for this forum but I don't want to start putting any of my own time in before I see lasting results.
