2013 Under 18 AFL Football

There's a bloke called Tom Langford playing round these parts who I reckon might be a bolter. I went to school with him - he was a brilliant player but had the worst attitude. He's still a cunt tbf but he seems to have much better application. It was his draft year 2 years ago where he was a good shot at being picked but towards mid year it was clear he wouldn't. He's a 6'4-5 KPF, pretty solid already. Played a bit of SANFL last year and looked o.k. for norwood but he's moved to North Adelaide this season and he's doing really well. Constantly in their top 5-7 players, he's getting 2-3 goals a game but always gets plenty of the ball up the field like a true CHF. as a 20 year old bloke holding down CHF in a SANFL team and doing a good job of it, I reckon he's a good shot at being picked. There really are very few good young KPFs around. Even the AFL KPFs struggle in the SANFL. Dudes like John Butcher can barely buy a goal.

To put it in perspective, Langford > Johnston in every game they've both played this season bar the one where Johnston got 7. Johnston would be playing AFL at 12-13 clubs if he weren't injured/a crow and Langford's a year younger.

I'd love to see him get a shot just because where I went has only had one AFL footballer. Unlikely, but on natural talent he's definitely afl standard.
