Off to Walsall Wood vs Hereford tonight. Tier 9 football at its finest At least I'll be able to drink inside the 'stadium'
Went to see them beat Heanor Town (who were top) 7-2 a few weeks back. It was quality Hereford took close to 400 fans, which doesn't happen in that division haha
Hang on surely Hereford didn't get dropped all the way to Tier 9?!! They are getting some of the biggest crowds in non-league Not the biggest of course
Yup, they're in the midlands football league. Speaks volumes that I work with one of the lads that play for Dunkirk and they're in the same division ffs anyway won 6-0, Mills with another hat trick i think they got almost 4000 for their first game back and I went to the friendly against FC United which around 5000 people turned up
Bah, FC Utd, bunch of tossers. Either stick to your 'big' team through thick and thin or support one of the other non-league clubs. Don't just make a new one, pump millions in, and shit on every other club at that level by nicking the best players. Salford FC starting to do the same too.
I know one of the FC United strikers he moved down a league to go to them, that tells you everything you need to know
Pretty much every Trafford player they've signed in the last few years has played for, or spent time on trial at, FC United. Its not really the players fault, as the club is clearly on the up so a great place to get into, but it rattles me when millions can be pumped into creating a new non-league team, dragging thousands of fans, when others such as Trafford, who have been on a major up, end up being stopped in their wake (and sent back down again) because they can't get the players/numbers through the door.
Stones was 50/50 for Monday night so I'd imagine he will be OK for it. Coleman I have no idea on but it's a worry if he doesn't make it. Browning just doesn't do it for me.
