The police officer regretted entering the house as soon as he had. Exiting, he retched onto the street. The smell of death he had experienced before, even of the innocent, but this? There was nothing to prepare him for the discovery of a child with his skull carved in two.

AVA is dead. He was Micah Sanders.

With the back of his head horribly mangled, the old man lay on the floor of his office. There had been no sign of a break in.

Athlai is dead. He was Kaito Nakamura.

It is now Day Two. With 17 alive, 9 votes are needed for a majority.

 

What's more interesting is that he hasn't appeared as a mafia member. Which suggests Ritchie was either lying, had his report tampered with or he's a dodgy cop.

As to whether it was a vig hit, "there was no sign of a break in" - anyone with the power to walk through walls or something of the sort? Might indicate whether this is a town hit or a mafia hit.

 

A little bit suspicious, but there's no reason why a townie couldn't have a double visit. For example, is there anyone with Super Speed as a power? Might allow them to act twice?

 

D.L. Hawkins?

I don't think he was claiming miller. I think he thought that it might be why he came up as guilty. It's been a long time since I played mafia - don't millers usually appear as mafia when they're killed off?

 

Ah. Okay then. My mistake.

Looking up D.L. Hawkins suggests that he could reasonably be a candidate for the hit on Athlai. More likely to be town than mafia, potentially 3rd party?

Maybe someone who knows the canon better might be able to comment in a more informed way?
