They've already got a fair number of PS1 titles available on PS3. Given how easy it would be to get a PS1 emulator installed on the PS4 they'd be stupid not to maintain all the games they've already done imo
Just watched Angry Joe's interview with Major Nelson. It basically epitomises the problem Microsoft has. It's not necessarily even about the system and the reasons for the ways they're approaching it. They're stuck in the mindset where they think if they keep telling everyone else that the problem is with the consumers and not with themselves, eventually people will buy in to it.
