    Hahaha, rage!

Lost my first two games 1-0 against Newcastle and Portsmouth, both away so not too bad really.

    Brad Friedel is absolutely shite.

Just drew 2-2 with Dortmund in the Quater Finals of Euro Cup.

Came back from 2-0 down with a Jó Penalty, and Ashton thumped a 25 yarder into the top corner.

Next leg is in a week at Man City Stadium... Should be able to at least squeak out a draw, and go through to the semi's

It makes the club less reluctant to sack you, as they have to pay more compensation etc hence making your job slightly more secure as such.

EG I'm on a 210,000 pounds per week deal @ Liverpool, even if I went a season without winning a trophy, or a couple of seasons my job would still be safe as they would have to pay massive compensation on the 2 -> 3 years remaining on my contract, which they would be reluctant to do.

Into the 2028-29 season now on my Liverpool save, lost the Community Shield 1-0 to Arsenal, mhmmm

These are my 3 most expensive players at the club (in order too, though Barre is the best player in the squad):

While this one is perhaps my most promising youth player ATM, high hopes for him:

That Barre bloke is immense. Like a combo of Gerrard and Ronaldo with the best of each. Well, except for pace, but that's probably because he's 31.

  7. SuperNova SJ Nova

He has been immense for me.

Won the Prem Golden boot with 18 goals last season ;)

Followed up by 27/28 English Footballer of the year, 27/28 Liverpool FC player of the year. Then won the 2028 Euro's with France as well as being named best player.

Not bad by the age of 31 ;)

Drew 1-1 with Boro in my 3rd league match, got Blackburn up next, hopefully I can get my first league win.

No-one wants to come to me.. keep going off to Roma etc.

    So far got in:

    Ashley young
    Michael Arteta
Ben Foster (free, felt sorry for him :p)
    Felipe

Just signed the duo of Ricardo Quaresma, Michael Owen and Vagner Love to my Chelsea team. Looking at signing a RB, preferably Alves.

  12. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Lol that is a trio not a duo.

If you're looking at a RB go with Srna. He's gun on that game... Chelsea pipped me to him on my game. Covers LB too.

  13. Incey BC Jacobs

Yeah. I forgot I signed Love, seeing as he will be coming over around June. Hence the trio/duo **** up.

Also signed Fabien Delph for my reserves and U/18s team.

  14. Magic AJ Parker

    Who wouldn't :D

Opinions.... FIFA Manager 2009 or Football Manager 2009?

  15. robsafc RW Raine

Stupid question really. You cant compare both games as one is crap and one is mint.

Football Manager 2009 any day of the week.

I like Fifa Manager 09. I haven't played the other one.

Now playing with Portsmouth, made a few signings with Srna 9 mill and Beckham for only a 5 mil transfer fee (remarkable really and has been playing great 2 goals on his league debut, followed up by a goal in the Euro Cup 1-0 win) managed to sell Johnson to Aston Villa for 12m fee and started the season with a 2-0 loss to Everton then back to back wins over Fullham 3-1 and West Ham 3-0, just lost to Newcastle 2-0.

  18. deadlydemon TJL Webber

Which is why I do two saves of every game.

  19. Frizzed WC Welker

I think I may do that from now on.

  20. Frizzed WC Welker

    Football Manager 09 is awesome.
