1 - Yes, father is Irish born. Entire mother's side of the family is of Irish blood. 2 - Not so long as NZ was an option, but I do support Ireland as my second team in all sport except union where they are #1. 3 - I can't say yes without looking like a liar since I made so much noise about it before. But if Ireland needed me to make up a competitive XI I would consider it.
1. Do you have significant ties to Ireland (birthplace/residency/heritage)? Yes. My complete name is more Irish than most Irishman. Both sides of the family imigrated from Ireland. 2. Would you have pledged your allegiance to Ireland when you joined CricSim if it was an option? Nah. 3. Would you leave your current province to play for Ireland, given the chance, for reasons other than competition for places? Nah.
1. My mothers side of the family all come from Ireland. 2. Would have gone with QLD. 3. If they were desperate I'd have a think. I do need to start honouring my Irish heritage more.
Relevant parties to fill in this form: (if the answer to #1 is no, don't bother) 1. Yes 2. No 3. No, unless St Patrick's day being better than St George's counts
I can qualify through my Grandfather. I wouldn't join over GB but if GB became England then I would probably rather play for my Celtic brothers. I follow England for cricket but if England were against Scotland then I would never want England to win.
Well apparently all humans descend from Africa. Although I feel the link may just be a bit weak to count.
