Round 5: Bulldogs V Warriors The game gets underway in just over two hours, from what I've heard today Jarrad Hickey will play so Danny Williams drops of the bench and apparently Ben Barba will start for Ben Roberts. Jerome Ropati is out for the Warriors, with Henderson and Ah Van coming into the squad.
Sigh, another woeful performance. Our four most experienced players in Kimmorley, Patten, Ryan and Ennis were ironically our 4 worst tonight. I really can't see what Andrew Ryan offers this team anymore, he really does look slow with everything he does (plus he's missing crucial tackles). Our attack is just hopeless at the moment also, we have no structure at all, it's just one up stuff the whole way down field. Newsflash, we have two good young centres, use them ffs. Thought the Warriors were pretty good though, Rapira's become such a good front-rower recently, he was a beast tonight.
Watching with a bunch of warriors supporters FTL. Was a good game, but some very simple errors from both sides
I've been saying this since last year, Ennis is the Dogs weakest link. He's the reason why they didn't make it to the final last year. All the pieces were in place, he just has brain explosion after brain explosion. He is a horrible defender for a hooker, up there with Gallen in stupidity as to giving away penalties and on many occasions stagnates their attack. He's probably been the worst hooker thus far this year, and if he gets selected for even country origin it'll be a rort.
Also, big credit to the Warriors, play some awesome footy and definitely the most entertaining in the comp. Debunking the myth that they can't play in Australia, although the Bulldogs in this form and the Broncos aren't exactly major scalps. Hoping the Warriors strike some real form.
He's a meathead, and thats putting it kindly AFAIC. How many times do you see him pick up the ball from dummy half and go the opposite way to where the numbers are? It happens far too often tbh. I doubt we ever win a premiership with him in the team.
It's no coincidence that the Broncos won in 06 when Ennis went down injured, but in 07 and 08 they didn't win when he was playing.
I wouldn't expect anything more from you though. How young New Zealanders can support Australian rugby team teams over the Warriors beggars belief tbh.
