    Because it's not really like that in Australia. We're used to having finals in NRL, AFL, etc etc... so it'd just be the norm to have a finals series for A-League as well.

    The only real downside is that the team most worthy of the premiership doesn't always win it (e.g. a random 4th place teams wins the Grand Final).

    The upsides are that the season lasts longer and there's more revenue for the league. Plus, it's a minor substitute for no knock-out cup, albeit not a great one but I'll live.

    Yeah their old one was hideous.
    IMO it's good but not as good as the GC Utd one.

    Thank God they changed their piece of shit logo. I really hated Perth's and QLD's logos tbh.

    I like this one though. Nice and clean, probably one of the best in the A-League.. except maybe Sydney and Melbourne who have gun emblems.

    @ Alex: The GC one is shite IMO. Didn't like it from the start... seriously, who has a beach on their emblem? -.-

    Pretty nice. I love most of the modernised emblem logos - Sydney, Melbourne, GC etc.

    It's still a tossup for me.

    I'll probs buy a Glory shirt this year as I like the logo, and it is suppose to symbolise a new era for us.

    Loving the new jerseys especially the Fury's home strip. 6 team finals seems a little bit big but atm they need to keep people putting money into the game to keep it going or it will just fail like the NSL did. Loving the longer season too.

    **** I've missed out on so much, including the development of my Fury.

    I'll be home in time for the first match which I'm ****ing stoaked about. Heading to the Gold Coast with hopefully 50+ guys from F-Troop in round 2 to watch us take on Scum Coast.

    Spewing the game wasn't fixtured on schoolies weekend. :(

    I heard that Qld Roar are having friendlies against Fulham and Celtic and Gold Coast are playing Fulham and Everton. I know Fulahm were playing the Roar and Celtic was a big possiblity but I hadn't heard about Gold Coast's games.

    Glory have signed Jacob Burns (Aussie international) and its announced along with Wolves we're playing a pre-season v Fulham at MES as well.
