The only difficult thing is going to be getting the interchanges right. I suppose I'll just aim to play Pritchard, Ellis and LOD each for about 60 minutes with Burns giving Flannery a rest at some stage and playing some hooker.
Try and give each second rower 60 mins, and for the forwards something like 52 ish for Price, 28 ish for Mason, 40 and 40 for Lynch and Rapira or something like that. Should work out. After that trade you're very close, if not the best team currently in the comp.
The halves are a worry depending on rating... The backline is strong though, aside from Yeaman all are class player.
I'm leaving that one up to GYR given that he's one of the few in reggies that he picked. Who would you be willing to trade? Basically, we'd need a hooker as part of the trade.
Reggies coming together: 1. Cameron Phelps 2. John Williams 3. Jake Webster 4. Ben Harris 5. Semi Tadulala 6. 7. Thomas Leululai 8. Josh McGuire 9. Jake Friend 10. Mitchell Sargent 11. 12. Jon Wilkin 13. Gavin Cooper 14. 15. 16. 17. Clearly we're more concerned about our outside backs in first getting the job done and as such have concentrated more on picking up those players than we would if just picking the best seconds team.
2. Sam Perrett 3. Brent Tate 4. Kirk Yeaman 5. Lee Smith I'm not really happy with these 4 given the creative and organisational side thing. They're all pretty similar. Perrett needs to be organisational and Smith creative I think. The centres is where I'm not sure. Yeaman's try scoring over the last 3 seasons is far better so we'll probably leave it as is. Give us an organisational side of: Long, Price, Ellis, Tate, Perrett Definitely a strength of the team. Other side would then be: Orr, Lynch, O'Donnell, Yeaman, Smith That's a potential weakness I suppose. When Pritchard came on he'd go straight to that side and it'll strengthen it a lot imo.
Yeah. I'm not really sure how he'll go in this tbh. He only averages 70 m a game but his defence is good and going by his line breaks and tries, he can clearly run a line. He might end up playing in firsts ahead of Keith Mason if we end up only running with one prop on the bench. Given that Price, Lynch and Rapira can all play long minutes, and that Ellis, LOD and Pritchard are all high metreage second rowers, it's probably a possibility. Wait and see. Could be good on the organisational side.
Ellis > O Donnell as a hole hitter tbh. O Donnell appears to be more a workhorse now.., Ellis is somewhat of a ball player.
I reckon you should focus on the defensive side of things then, put Tate with whoever you reckon is your weaker winger or half. If there's a minimal difference in attack then the advantage you could get by having Tate help out a weak defender is probably more worth focusing on.
