It would be like them having to proof-read 80+ articles and missing one sentence (80 players play each round I think?). You could understand how they miss something small.
It's been 2 rounds into this new sim and there has already been a major cock up. Seems to me that Eds, although he is doing an excellent job, is cutting corners on the little things. If he wants integrity in the competition he's got to make sure everything is 100%. This is a bit of an overreaction, 6 points and $500,000 hardly seems fair for a mistake that, at least in part, is the fault of the competition.
No punishment hardly seems fair for the other 3 teams who have followed the rules or the two teams who have had to verse the Giants.
Yeah, we did **** up, but does it really deserve 6 points and a $500,000 fine? We honestly didn't realise. A $500,000 fine is good enough punishment. I'm not saying this cause I'm in the Giants. I would have said the same thing for any club.
I don't believe that there should be no punishment, but losing 6 points, which could essentially ruin our season, and 500k isn't right. The punishment hardly fits the crime.
Well the Cheetahs could argue they got cheated out of points in their recent match, same as the Vikings. They Giants shouldn't get the points they won using illegal measures.
Indeed... but we just went straight to the counter sure in this instance. I can't find a ladder so I don't know how significant 6 points actually is but 500k? Seems pretty harsh to me.
lol telling Zakaron in general conversation is hardly telling 'us' (the club). That's making assumptions that which wouldn't hold up in any court... don't quit your day job AVA.
At the end of the day Eds should have as much knowledge of his sim as Rob does of his sim. Which means every fine detail from positions to correct spelling of names who plays for who, Who is uncontracted etc. Prince Sets the bar and Eds is heading the wrong to getting above the bar.
