One was Zakaron who actually signed a contract. He just didn't have the salary in it. And you know how Zakaron is... But, for the record, we weren't trying to get around anything. The players were from last season, so they already had access to our sub-forum. Don't even think any players were changed sub-forums for this new season.
Something needs to be done about the the 60min drawn game between the Vikings and the Giants, that my only problem. I think he has done a fine job, TBH. Eds wasnt to know they werent signed, Giants CoS was though.
No salary allows you to get around the cap now doesn't it? No doubt you weren't, but if you were would you actually admit it? I doubt it.

What cap is that?? He didn't even notice that Laing & Morgan weren't there when doing the deductions... how serious is this cap being taken?
As admin of the comp he should have known also. Then it could have been discovered after round 1 and the game resimmed, without these sort of consequences. We at the Giants have made a mistake, but so has Eds, and we're copping the severe punishment. That's my problem.
He is a mod, not an admin? What mistake did he make exactly? Putting his trust in the lineup and failing to notice two names missing on the fitness levels, after calculating another 80 names beforehand? He should be shot!!
He runs the comp, and therefore could be called the Competition Administrator, right? What are you trying to prove? You've admitted his mistake. I've voted that he shouldn't step down from it all, I think he's doing a good job. I just think that maybe if this competition was to be the second best here on Cricsim, that maybe it'd have some integrity. Would you like a poorly run competition with regular mistakes?
The Giants have no argument here. They did the wrong thing. If anything the Vikings have a point as they drew to a team with illegal players and it was only played over 60mins.
I've admitted a mistake was made, but he shouldn't get the blame. Wow, one mistake! This 'integrity' will come after more than 2 matches with a new sim, everyone is on edge because it is a new sim and concept. Who is to say there will be regular mistakes? I'm sure Rob has made a few mistakes with Cricsim during it's time, and has learned from them, just as Eds will most likely do from these. Boobidy is going over the top and bandwagoners are jumping in, that is why everyone is kicking up a stink. That and the fact the Giants don't want to admit they deserve it, which they do.
Wow, one mistake from our President in not double checking everyone's wage on the contracts thread. It's not like it's a regular mistake is it?
Pretty much... surely he should have a list of which players are registered and which aren't. Something that could've easily been avoided but we all make mistakes, surely though he has to take some blame for it rather than shifting all the blame onto CCG. I mean after all it is his sim is it not? If a journalist was to write non-factual defamatory content in an article and a Newspaper decided to publish it they would be up against allegations along with the journalist.. I know it's just an internet game but surely the principals are still the same?
