Most of the good ones I can think of are locks and second rowers. I think the answer is Pangai, but it's a bit of technicality as I think he would've played for both Origin teams and both non-Aus Test teams in the OP by now if he was eligible/made himself available. Beyond that I agree with Thompson, and I also rate Ryan Matterson, Nathan Brown and Victor Radley. Keary sprung to mind as someone who hadn't played Origin but he did play a couple of Tests for Aus in 2018. EDIT: Just remembered Kikau - another back rower but IMO actually the best of the lot.
1 Ryan Papenhuyzen 2 Maika Sivo 3 Kotoni Staggs 4 Jarrod Croker 5 Kyle Feldt 6 Mitchell Moses 7 Luke Brooks 8 Tevita Pangai 9 Jayden Brailey 10 Nathan Brown 11 Joel Thompson 12 Viliame Kikau 13 Victor Radley 14 Clint Gutherson 15 Junior Paulo 16 Thomas Flegler 17 Ryan Matterson People will probably disagree with Brailey, but I rate him. Sub in McInnes or Turpin if you wish. The halves were fucking hard, especially since those two had an extended period playing together but never gelled. I almost wanted to pick Drinkwater but he's done nothing in the halves so far in his career and little fullstop.
Yeah I forgot Lodge because I went through the R1 and R2 lineups to fill in gaps. Would at least make the bench of that side, might even bench Brown or Radley instead.
Would Kikau had played Origin or for New Zealand/England if he was eligible though? Suspect he'd have made the New Zealand and Queensland sides at least.
100% would have played for QLD, NZ and England. Unsure on NSW, really depends on injuries and how retarded the coach is.
Jake Friend. I know he came off the bench for Australia against Scotland but is that really rep footy... Poor guy was waiting for Cam Smith to retire. Finally in 2018 he does and the spastic Walters goes with McCullough instead. Then for all money he looks a certainty to be picked in 2019 and he gets a season ending injury. Keep in mind he's played 20 games or more every season for the past decade. Then 2020 rolls around.... surely so long as he can stay healthy he walks in. Nope. Coronavirus troll.
Haha I wondered why I didn't actually remember his one Test. I had him in my side originally but looked him up to double check and went "oh.."
Wouldn't surprise, Walters doesn't seem to rate him very highly and Turpin will naturally get a lot of qld press playing for the Broncos ala McCullough.
Joseph Leilua would be a good shout, he's a top end attacking talent. I think I'd probably risk it with someone like him before Croker.
