Yeah should be good. I don't think Scotland will get caught out after knowing what happened with SA but you never know. Energy won't help for Japan (4 day turn around). A somewhat decent game (and close) would be all I ask for.
Scotland v Samoa will be in Newcastle, probably about 2 hours drive from Glasgow. Scots will have the crowd
Being able to watch this on my phone/ tablet in bed is so gun. Also finished the last of a stressful 7 days (3 assignments) earlier on yesterday - nice to be able to enjoy this in peace.
Try saving tackle from Japan there!!!! wow. Have to feel Japan really needed to score a try around that 35 min mark. Going over the ruck to try dot down was a bit hopeful..... It's so awesome for rugby having teams like Japan being more competitive. Gonna be a fun 2nd half. 12-7 at HT.
Some nice defence from japan to finish the first half. They are still in it. Hopefully they can get up and grab their second win
The Georgia Tonga game and all three halves played by Japan really speak volumes about how well the game is developing around the world. Its a hugely positive sign and it could make for very very interesting world cups in the future.
Top comment. I think people's perception of Japan prior to the SA game was that they were a lot worse than they actually are. The perception (mine) prior to the RWC of Japan would be that they would beat the USA, Canada, Romania, Namibia, Georgia, Uruguay and maybe even Tonga out of the teams that are in the cup imo. That puts them in the Top 13......They ain't minnows imo, just a small fish looking out to a pond fall of big fish. The minnows ain't even in the pond yet.
I didn't realise they had improve quite so much tbf. Remember watching them get blitzed by 80+ in a pub in Prague on my honeymoon 4 years ago.
