    Good point. But he wasn't going to get a spot on the wing either then was he? And Minichello was fullback and captain at the time...and he wasn't going to take his place.

    Henare Wells is one player who I was absolutely certain would make a crack of it at NRL level after watching him come through the junior grades.

    Great support player, decent pace & had a handy ball playing game. Could get ragdolled a bit coming out of trouble but I'd seen fullbacks enter grade with far bigger issues and still go on to succeed.

    I assume he's more of a Vulcans signing though rather than a Warriors signing, with Abbey moving on.

    Yeah I was sort of surprised the Roosters didn't look into bringing him back to the club as insurance when they lost RTS. Figured he already had a club lined up when he wasn't spoken about at all but I guess not.
