Gun game on at franklin's ATM. Couple of desperate try-saving tackles keeping Northampton in it. Leicester vastly better than last week. Proper shape and quick hands in the 3/4 line letting MANU run riot.
Could do with Leicester winning and no LBP for Northampton to help Gloucester's chances of making the finals. Wasps also beating Saracens currently.
Yeah, that was top notch stuff, although I was a bit concerned by the fact that the Leicester scrum, which has 3 of England's front 5, was misfiring in the first half. Also, this sounds quite harsh, but I'm going to put it out there that Tom Croft is a little overrated, and didn't deserve MoM today. He just happens to be good at the most immediately visible parts of the game (lineouts, open field running) and doesn't contribute as much as the likes of Tom Wood where it really matters - the dirty work in the rucks and around the fringes.
Which team has the most Saffas? More pertinently, which saffas play, and for which team? I need to know who I support.
Ryan Lamb to the Tigers has legs, apparently. Might see Tobias move to 2nd 5/8 where I (& Will Greenwood, who knows his inside centres) see his best position as. Lamb did really well when he came on for the Jimmys yesterday, but it was against Sale so it's a tad fish in a barrell.
Had heard about that. Think I'd rather stick with Allen at 12 if possible, but Lamb would get some time during internationals anyway.
Geordan Murphy retiring, will join our coaching staff at the end of the season. Hope we get to the final to give him a good sendoff.
