Hi there and welcome to the second Provincial Championship match up. There will definitely be a few rivalries between the GB and ROA lads, and it will all kick off. GB will look to fully utilise their backs and Blunder’s job tonight will be to keep Vago under control. A few guys out of position for each of the teams, but GB are certainly the favourites to take this one out.

E Ames puts an excellent kick up, and gives his forwards a good chance to get to the ball. Deane was very close to getting to that one, but Gee was lifted excellently by Erschoff and Masters. The maul is formed, and Perry takes it out the back after a decent ROA drive. Pilgrim takes it and hands it to Vago. He pops it up to Son. He links well with Alessi. Alessi makes a small gain before being taken down by Farnsworth. The ROA forwards get to the breakdown well, and before you know it, Perry has shipped the ball out to Pilgrim for a backs move. Vago comes across but is a dummy. Pilgrim passes to Son who makes an attempt to break the GB line. He has no support and Golding manages to turn him over. Nice stuff from Golding. Ames gets to the ball well and makes a pass to Luffman. Luffman chips it over the top where Farnsworth is bounding on at real pace...The ball bobbles around for a bit, and AP Farnsworth dives on it. Ames gets to the ball and Luffman receives it again. He makes a pass to Blunder who looks for Graham on the inside. But he isn’t there and Blunder passes it out again. Golding takes the ball and sidesteps Son. GOLDING HAS BROKEN THE ROA LINE AND IS THROUGH. HE ONLY HAS KING TO BEAT. A BEAUTIFUL GRUBBER FROM GOLDING HAS PUT HIM AROUND KING AND THROUGH. TRY UNDER THE POSTS FOR GB. Ames converts the try and the score is 7-0 to GB.

    It's ROA they're vsing.

That's like saying Usain Bolt to beat Josh Perry in a 100m race.

    Update: 40 mins
LA Pilgrim has put a high kick up and Dafter has claimed it. Ouch. He just got mowed with the high tackle from Gemmell. Dafter is staying down and EI Morris will come on for his GB debut as a replacement. E Ames takes the kick and gains valuable ground for GB. C Laing puts a perfect throw up, which McDougal claims magnificently and he taps it back to E Ames. E Ames makes a short gain on that pick and go, and has good support for the ruck. Wilkinson makes good yards in that Pick and Go and Morris has a go at one. Nice driving play from GB. Ames pops another one up to SDR Laing who is supported well by C Laing and JE McGrath. E Ames finally decides to ship it out. Luffman receives the ball and passes to Blunder. Blunder sees Graham coming on the inside. GRAHAM WENT STRAIGHT IN THE GAP BETWEEN PILGRIM AND VAGO AND NOW ONLY HAS THE FULL BACK LEFT TO BEAT. KING COMES ACROSS BUT C LAING IS THERE IN SUPPORT AND IT IS OFFLOADED. TRY FOR GB UNDER THE POSTS AGAIN! Ames gets the conversion and the score is now 14-0 to GB. It will be really tough for ROA to come back from this one. The ref calls last play just as Pilgrim puts the reverse kick to Logan up. Logan decides to go for it. Why not? Ames takes it out the back and gives Verigotta a pick and go. Lovely gain from that. Luffman receives the ball from Ames now, and has decided to chip it over the top. Too long from Luffman. No loss though, at half time the score is 14-0 to Great Britain.
