Bane wasn't related to Liam Neeson.

Watched Hunger Games and Life of Brian last night. Though Hunger Games was excellent, though was slightly underwhelmed by Life of Brian.

Pitch Perfect. Was watchable, Tried to be funny but really the only funny person was the lady from Fat Pizza, she stole the show.

Dividing 1 "The Hobbit" book into 3 movies (as opposed to 3 LOTR books into 3 movies), and the book is already slower than any of the LOTR books...I can imagine falling asleep pretty quickly. The first fuggin half of the book was just them jerking off in Hobbitland.

Nah, decent amount of action, though an understandable amount of time is devoted to giving context since it's the first movie.

pale orc is the gayest name ever.

  13. Captain SSD Dong

    AWTA.

    *SPOILER*

Can't remember what happens in the book, but how does he survive? There's a scene with the dwarves dragging him somewhere with his arm in a stump. Did they just let him go or something after that?

  14. Riddy JH Ridd

theres no such thing in the book.

  15. Captain SSD Dong

There's definitely something about orcs chasing him in the book iirc or was it just the wolves?

  16. Riddy JH Ridd

pretty sure it was just the wolves. afaik they introduced the pale orc to make it more of a 'film'

Even though the Hobbit had alot of drawn out scenes the special effects are fucking amazing. Can't wait till the 2nd Hobbit movie.

There's actually about 5 or 6 books in LOTR not 3.

The "books" are actually just sections.
It all comes down to how much description action text there is and they cut out a bit of LOTR.

didn't know it was going to be 3 movies, I think I'll really enjoy it, loved the book, read it about 12 years ago.

Any talk of a Silmarillion movie?
