1. Pumas 2. Vipers 3. Sticky Wickets 4. Gamblers 5. Crusaders 6. Allstars 7. Ravens 8. Stingrays 9. Cyclones Bit of a gap here between the Top 4 and the rest tbh.
The Saders will likely start with Ridd at #8, and even if Dyer does play, at this point in his career he still isn't as good a bat as Funkotron. Storer played BS last year chiefly as a batsman, doing notably better than Ames or Retzel and O'Driscoll has done quite a bit more than Taylor, so we really don't have batting weaknesses that also apply to the Saders. And when you look at the strong points it's no contest. Manera, Downpipes and Lewis are a class above anything the Saders have.
Yes. The best batsman you have is Perry. Note that those 3 were all locks for the North v South series, while Eds can't make the Britain side.
Care cup the rankings all you want: RST Downpipes: S10 average 67.64, S11 average 50.93 BJT Manera: S10 average 46.04, S11 average 36.03 DW Lewis: S10 average 53.84, S11 average 63.63 E Ames: S10 average 62.42, S11 average 29.40 TA Miokovic: S10 average 39.15, S11 average 37.43 There's no denying that Ames and Miokovic are definitely a class below the 3 (except arguably Manera).
Manera had a shaky BS season (for him) last time but bossed it in rep. As I said, we're comparing a bloke who's a lock for North against one who isn't good enough to play for GB.
Gamblers look good on paper. The gap between the Gamblers and the Stars and Crusaders is nowhere near as big as morgie thinks it is.
