I assume its a case of I can't have both nice things Only one of thems going to happen and it isn't going to be mine
Does this mean that there is now one universal form that will affect and be affected by both FC and OD?
I know it was mentioned at one point but really can't remember what you decided, was there any sort of decision on like changing your pitches like +1or2/-1/2 in certain areas every week Or does the pitch really ahve to be like a proper consistant thing
The reason I think it'll go over people's heads though is that people will get confused by past form and predicted form, or form and ability. If you're legitimately crap in one of the formats for whatever reason and you perform poorly as expected, your form will remain neutral. Your form is a function is how well you play relative to your ability; not how well you play relative to everyone else.
Haha. Both form and the random factor sound very similar to how I do them in Seasonal Rugby. Can you see the random factor though, Cribb? Do you know how each player is impacted? I made sure I don't see it otherwise I know more info than any other selector.
I could see it if I went and looked for it, but it doesn't show up in a place I'd naturally just come across and I don't have any intention of looking it up. It'd take the fun out of it and, as you alluded to, give myself an unfair advantage. EDIT: And yeah, I have no shame in stealing ideas from Seasonal Rugby. FC/SC cricket has past performances so you make your own random factor as such but one day cricket needed something to differentiate the players a little beyond beyond activity and SWPC.
Good stuff. Same for Seasonal Rugby, if I really wanted to find out, I could, but it would ruin things for me so I easily ignore it.
Would you do seperate home pitches for OD and FC? Personally think doing the same for both would be pretty good, or only allowing for small changes. As otherwise the 2 pitches could end up being completely different which is pretty unrealistic.
