CBF with the normal 'stages in advance' + everyone knows the typical TDF route anyway. It's the 2013 route we're using. 8 sprint stages 4 'hill' stages (3 on flats/downhill finishes, 1 on top of a punchy climb) 6 mountain stages (4 summit finishes, 2 downhill finishes) 23.5 km TTT 29.6 km ITT 32.0 km Hill TT Race will be decided in the last week with the final being Hill, Mountain, Hill, Hill TT, Mountain, Mountain, Mountain, Champs Elysees
for the record, the teams Citrosol: Bos, Roelandts, Matthews, Van Avermaet, Boom, Spilak, Costa, Valverde Dereks: Kittel, Coquard, Gasparotto, Gerrans, Vanendert, De Gendt, Wiggins, Van den Broeck Fosters: Impey, Guardini, Eisel, Pozzovivo, A Schleck, Horner, Hesjedal, Quintana, Contador HFF: Boonen, Boasson Hagen, Pozzato, Hoogerland, Kiserlovski, Henao, Porte, Peraud, Mollema LLDC: Cavendish, Renshaw, Thomas, Coppel, Niemiec, Anton, Gesink, Kreuziger, Rodriguez MMPC: Swift, T Martin, Gilbert, Taaramae, Rogers, Moreno, Rolland, Roche, Froome Rohan: Farrar, Hushovd, Vandenbergh, Gaudin, Turgot, Chavanel, Voeckler, Fuglsang, D Martin Rohan have put out a pretty pissweak team tbh, not many threatening riders. MMPC and HFF should have a solid battle in the TTT with Dereks and Citrosol in that next group. Very light on sprinters this year. Dereks look like targeting stages primarily with 3-4 real puncheurs and a good support team for Kittel, Citrosol have two great riders to support Valverde and pinch a stage or two with some reasonable contenders for the hill stages/uphill finishes and breakaways. Fosters have built a team around protecting Contador on all terrains with his mountain support excellent, HFF have about 4 guys who could end up as leader depending on how it all goes early. Good team to threaten on the hill stages/uphill finishes too. LLDC have renshaw to help out Cav and then a pretty reasonable team to support Rodriguez or Kreuziger, MMPC have a team almost expressly built to support Froome on the flats, hills, mountains and in the TTT and MMPC will probably hope for some breakaway wins with Martin and Fuglsang to go alone trying to impact GC. My predictions: Points/Stage wins: Kittel/Cav split Overall: 1. Froome 2. Contador 3. Valverde 4. Quintana 5. Rodriguez 6. Porte 7. Van den Broeck 8. Kreuziger 9. Costa 10. Mollema - 11. Spilak 12. Gesink 13. Hesjedal 14. Peraud 15. Niemiec 16. Moreno 17. Wiggins 18. Fuglsang 19. Rolland 20. Roche 21. Horner 22. Henao 23. Pozzovivo 24. Schleck 25. De Gendt 26. Anton 27. Rogers 28. Kiserlovski 29. Taaramae 30. Voeckler But it all really depends on who works for who and who's in good form.
Couple of stage wins and a podium finish would be nice, though I reckon Quintana will end up in the top 3 instead of Valverde.
