CricSim North v CricSim South

... is going to happen at the end of the season. As in, the full teams; not the Academies. Name of the competition TBA. I didn't realise I hadn't scheduled this anywhere until just now.

The Academy Cup is actually going to be moved to post-season and run alongside it rather than where it was before (midseason IIRC).

For those who don't quite get it:

CricSim North: Queensland + Great Britain
CricSim South: NSW + New Zealand + Victoria

It's designed to give us something like what Origin used to give us before we branched out and recruited people from outside NSW and Qld to the forum - a true allstar game.

 

Will probably be a three-game series. Yet to be decided though; kinda depends on what sort of interest it gets beforehand.

 

You could well be playing in the Academy Cup for North Academy while it's happening though.

 

Given it'll be played straight after the Provincial Championship, I imagine performances in that will go a long way towards selection.

 

Probably not unless you play really well for the Kings in the second half of this season.

 

Why?

 

I'll probably select the South team. I imagine Ged will select the North team. Could change though.
