No value in trading Wells.

 

At his best he is a good player.
You'll benefit more from trading him, imo.

 

We'd get a third round pick at best for someone who is 30 years old and has played like 10-12 games across the last 2 years.

 

Might get a late second round pick from a club like GWS or GC (although their midfields are packed).

There is SOME value there.

 

Still don't see it as a possibility that we will trade Wells. His value to us > then his trade value.

 

I think vise versa.

 

We probably have one of the slowest midfields around with Swallow, Ziebell, Cunnington, Bastinac, Jacobs and Gibson all not really possessing great leg speed.

 

So trade wells for a pick, use that pick for a youngster with speed.
