That sounds about right. There can't have been many (if any) Kiwi bowlers quicker than Davis when he was at his peak. He could be pretty brutal when on-song, but he could be extremely wayward when he was having an off day. Long time ago now, though. 1992-3 was probably his peak.

He was a bit of a loose cannon by all accounts. A little bit 'vacant' in many respects.

Yep. Not too sure what that means for W(h)anganui and Mid Canterbury who were supposed to be taking up the 2 new places in the 10 - 6 league structure.

One is definitely better than the other. The split will be the top 7 in 2010 in the "Premiership" and the bottom 7 into the "Championship". Hopefully they come up with better names for the 2 divisions rather than the UK Soccer rip-off names they've chosen so far.

2010. Same as it is now.
2011. Split into 2 divisions of 7. Then, somehow you play each of the seven in your division and 3 games against teams in the other division - 10 round robin games in total. Then semis and final. Though in 2011 with the world cup, there are no semis and some games will be played in midweek.
