Al-Qaeda Bombers The bombers are a strong force in this league lead by Chapman and Ottens. They have no big holes in there team, and have pretty good depth. With there defense ranked #2 in the league this team will be hard to score against. Croad and Waite will formidable combination of ran and carry from the backline. While Medhurst, Rioli and Tredrea will collect bags of goals. Coach nz0003 has done well getting this team together, although trading stars Nathan Lovett-Murray and Nick Davis they go depth in Bentick and Thompson. Prediction: Top 3. Player to watch: Cyril Rioli. Ranking: 4 Crumbs: 5 Mark: 11 Disposal: 4 Defense: 2
Cornhusslers The Cornhusslers are a crowd favourite, with big guns Pavlich and Corey being the danger men in this team you can understand why. The Spine for the 'husslers is immense, averaging 92.4 in rating, although it the outside player that will make or break this team. Butler and Williams will have to prove them selves as the bench reserves aren't worth talking about. This team will rely on McPhee and Lovett-Murray in the backline, but will have no trouble scoring if the ball gets there. El Nino, traded well and received Lovett-Murray, who will provide great run from the back line. Prediction: Top 8 Player To Watch: Matthew Pavlich Ranking: 10 Crumbs: 12 Mark: 4 Disposal: 12 Defense: 6
Unicorns The Unicorns are a pretty strong team and are all around the ground. They are led by Cassisi and Fisher. Fisher was taken as their first pick and for good reason, Corns and Fisher will provide a strong defense with great run, with players like Swan and Thompson providing the link between defense and attack. Which may be a weakness in this team. There are no proved big goal kickers on this team and that will be an issue for them when coming up against stronger teams. Mousey, traded S.King for J.Smith, who is a great utility and will swing from Back to forward during the season. Prediction: 6-4 Player to Watch: Sam Fisher Ranking: 8 Crumbs:8 Marking: 13 Disposals: 9 Defense: 7
Croydon Thunder Croydon Thunder are lead by and inexperienced coach but they have a team to go all the way. With Kerr and Ling guiding the team they look set for a big year. This is a fairly young team and will develop as they play on. They have poor depth and will struggle with injuries. You can't look pass this midfeild, they will rack that to disposals and provide good inside 50 kicks to Petrie. They'll struggle to keep teams from scoring but they should win most midfeild battles. Incey, traded J.Reiwoldt for C.Jones to sure up his midfield while getting K.Bradley in return of R.Nahas. Predicting: Top 8. Player to Watch: Cameron Bruce Ranking: 3 Crumbs: 1 Marking: 12 Disposals: 1 Defense: 5 Best 22: FB: Drummond - Hunter - C.Brown HB: McMahon - Bradley - Mackie C: Bruce - Kerr - Pearce HF: Goodwin - Pettigrew - Morton FF: Davey - Petrie - McGlynn R: Bryan - Ling - N.Brown Int: T.Selwood, Hunt, Jones, Polo
South Melbourne Bloods This team is just quality, i could leave it at that but that wouldn't be a good preview. This team has stars left, right and center. Riewoldt, Davis and Green will provide this team with scoring power that i can't see them being held under 70 points. Their defense is immense (rhymes), and they have the run across the midfield to out run teams. The only issue i see with this team is the depth, 1 or 2 injuries will screw up there structure. They should have work this out in the trade week and fixed the issue but coach Supersteve was happy with the squad. He just might have seconds thought later in the season. Prediction: Top 3 Player to Watch: Leon Davis. Rankings: 1 Crumbs: 13 Marking: 9 Disposal: 11 Defense: 1
Yeah boi. Definately happy with my team, and certainly I would of traded but my first team was to beautiful for me to pass up and really I have nothing much to trade out from outside my top team tbh
Yeah definately beatable, don't have any extreme possesion getters, but the whole midfeild is strong and hard under.
