    That's the thing. He plays in the middle in the VFL and occasionally off half back and has no trouble finding the ball, and has clean disposal. He steps up to AFL and will get played as a half forward.

    I found that the trade period dragged on for way too long last season. When it was one week, everything that needed to get done, got done. Now everything just drags out for so much longer and by the third week, its a bore. Deadline day comes, and there is excitement again.

    One week is plenty long enough, I mean teams talk to players during the year so it's not like they need heaps of time to get deals done.

    I remember a lot of deals not going through because Team A pulled out at 4pm on friday leaving Team B with a player they want to trade and only a few hours to sort it out. I prefer the long period because it gives teams time to not make stupid rushed decisions.

    (i maybe talk from a really bias Essnedon point of view because we've never pulled off a good trade)

    Heard this rumour from a couple of people now but not sure if there is any substance to it but apparently Buddy slept with Tippett's missus.

    Edit: Just saw a news article this morning from the Swans claiming that it is not true so it must be doing the rounds
