A fielding rating that is determined by if they are a full-time keeper or not. There is no stat in the world that says Haddin is better with the gloves than Watling.
Athlai is chatting shit ftr. Athlai, don't literal meta-game the competition if you're running it please, ffs. You're Skipposing.
Even if it was true (which it's not; there is more than one category of "front-line keeper" in terms of how I deal out the fielding ratings, so Dhoni will definitely be >> Akmal) then you shouldn't be telling them that. The idea is to get them to pick the teams as if they would in real life; not to encourage them to h4x the way the sim works.
We still need to be aware there is only so much a computer simulation can actually account for and the ability of a wicket keeper or a fielder is one of those things. Picking players based on factors that aren't going to be wholly accounted for such as fielding ability or how much of a fat cunt Jesse Ryder is against and how fit Martin Guptill is. Anyone can take the opinion away that until the draft is over I have no stats in front of me nor what Cribb rates anything, this is my opinion. But selecting someone on keeper ability is not something I agree with in a competition based on numbers.

Yeah but not like that when it's clearly inequitable. Trading your 7 and 8 picks for someone else's 7 and 8 picks would be fine but straight up trading your Round 7 pick for someone else's Round 8 pick is obviously just part of a larger player trade that will happen later and therefore wouldn't be allowed. You should be looking to recruit your squad as your own squad. Athlai will sort the trading out later but it shouldn't be relied upon; he may decide you're only allowed X trades or that they must be done at a certain time or whatever.
Cribb is right, I'm definitely looking at either limiting trades to a certain number or to allowing only one or two trade windows.
Yeah it's best to do it after since only then do you really know your full balance. Some people will still be picking first teamers in the 16th-18th rounds.
