    There's just no plan. It's been the same problem for the last couple of years, and McCartney has shown no ability to change things up or even go close to rectifying it. The amount of times we've come out of a game having matched the other team in the midfield, only to get absolutely hammered on the scoreboard is getting out of hand.

    The half-forward line is part of it, but the midfield, for all the ball those players get, cannot hit a target to save its life. We must be the only team in the league who legit manages to hit a player on the lead inside fifty at most three times a game.

    McCartney very much is a reincarnation of Neil Craig. Very limited matchday coach with an average tactical brain but excellent in development. Craig specialised in conditioning as opposed to McCartney's player growth though.

    I think he's the best man for the next 2-3 years but when his work starts bringing fruit it's best to replace him with a tactician.

    I was pretty excited about McCartney when we first selected him over Cameron because at least it was something different. I'm not a fan now, though, and I have a horrible feeling his stint will set us back a long way.

    I don't think the club can afford to have four years of playing this kind of drivel, either. Granted, this is the absolute fucking worst performance under McCartney, but it also has happened on FTA and I don't think the club can survive another few years of this.
