To turn this into a serious thread for a second, it's actually an interesting question. Assuming everyone's a full strength, every team has a weaker member of their top 3.. no team has an all-out settled top order. Cyclones - Goodfellow, Davis, Dempsey Goodfellow's not really proven at BS level yet and Dempsey's average if you only consider his batting. Stingrays - Vago, Hornby, Downpipes Hornby's a middle order bat opening. Sticky Wickets - Speirs, Thornton, Alessi Alessi's had very little time in the top order and Thornton is average. Pumas - Miokovic, Armstrong, Jones Jones is average at best as a specialist batsman in proper cricket. Vipers - Boland, Luffman, Delonge Boland and Delonge are average. Ravens - Cribb, McNeill, Manera Cribb (as a pure bat) and McNeill are average. Crusaders - Meister, Retzel, Monkeywrench Retzel's average and Meister isn't what he once was. Lions - Borisc, McGrath, Dover All kinds of fail. I'd probably lean towards the Rays I guess, at least during times when Hornby is not banned. Cyclones top 3 has heaps of potential though if Goodfellow can push on.
