I'm very different. I'll spend plenty and am not afraid to build a larger squad and work at the limits of the budgets set. Therefore I rely on tactics and results to ensure I'm successful and keep the finances secure.
That's what I've tended to do before this game, but I always end up with people unhappy for not playing, and that always riles me.
Yeah, I don't know what it was to start but I talked with them pre-season and got 30 and again in janurary popped up to 45
In 12.2, by the time you reach the end of the first season, it's quite likely you'll be struggling in terms of money because you're paying Zamora and Barton and Cisse about 180k a week in total.
I'd have thought 12.2 (and did originally) but 12.0 does seem much more reasonable. You get to actually spend some money, aren't bogged down by the likes of Barton, actually get some decent revenue from transfers etc. I essentially build better squads in order to improve, by getting good value-for-money in transfers, and that's really hard to do in 12.2.
Taiwo is on a fair sum as well. Makes a massive difference not being in heaps of debt at the end of the first season.
