So who do you hope wins now? New Zealand are an extremely hatable rugby union side, Englishmen aren't allowed to support Australia in sport and France...
New Zealand, hands down. France - just no. Australia - just no. Wales - I just don't think they deserve it, and would hate to see them in a RWC Final. Would really take away from it as a tournament, IMO, let alone winning the thing.
I'm actually supporting NZ, but I'd quite like France to win also. Fly the flag for the Northern Hemisphere etc.
I reckon this will turn out to be the worst prediction ever. I can see it being wrong in at least 3 ways
Why is that? Is it because: a) Australia have lost 10 of the last 12 games against the All Blacks? b) NZ have a 67% winning ratio against in tests vs the lollabies? c) Australia haven't beaten NZ at Eden Park since 1986? d) All of the above
I think it's more because they have a fucking awesome side constantly, act superior to everyone else and then inevitably choke anyway. That mix creates the perfect conditions for tall poppy syndrome - you can hate them because they're awesome, but still know you'll probably get to lol at them anyway. There's also a perception of them taking players away from smaller nations, although I think that's more perception than reality. All in all they're obviously pretty hateable unless you're a New Zealander. I don't think you'll find too many rugby union fans say that they're second favourite team is New Zealand unless they have New Zealand ties.
Calm down. I have never heard that expression. You see I was a "shit tier fan". Was the space a typo?
It still doesn't really make sense using the word in that context. Is this something you made up? Google not helping me
