Cod 5 is far more realistic, dark and burtal than Cod4 - I dunno I just enjoyed 5 more than 4 mainly cause I love history shit. In terms of gameplay they pretty much play the same. You're right about the new one it really dosnt look much different from 4 - but it'll still be awesome.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaah, because the CoD series has two different developers. Infinity Ward (The awesome ones) and Treyarch (The shit ****s).
I reckon MW 2 will be great given 4 was awesome, hopefully though the 7th game will be a lot different. Do WW 1 for once.
Yeah, enough with WW2 IMO. I wouldn't mind seeing futuristic Warfare either, provided it's by IW instead of the other one.
Lets clear this up. Infinity Ward are not making Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2. They are making "Modern Warfare 2". It will not be a part of the CoD series.
Even storylines aside, the WWII gameplay and graphics are what made the COD series. COD4 only has multiplayer to gloat about... and even then it's a matter of opinion. COD4 is a stain on what is a legendary series. Terrorists stealing Russian nukes? Pfft, give me a break.
COD4's single player, while short, is one of the most engaging in a FPS ever. There's a reason why it's the highest rated in the COD by critics and fans alike.
Its alright, I more dislike the first one compared to the others. Some missions on 1,2 and 3 are cringeworthy not to mention annoying.
Whereas every mission on 4 is a classic. The sinking ship? The sniper mission? THE NUKE! Gotta love that shit.
I only just recently passed that one where Im in the chopper with infrared vision. It starts over a church
COD4 definitely has the best single player out of all the CODs. Firstly, there's plenty of variety. You go from more covert and more professional missions (SAS) to absolute craziness with the US ones. Every mission was orsm as well. The supporting characters were great. And everything was linked through the one story that worked. COD5 on the other hand was nowhere near as cinematic, had no memorable characters, no links between most missions and it just felt like a huge downgrade from COD 1 and 2. And WTF was with the weapon sounds in COD5? They were dead set embarassing. It felt like you were in battle armed with a pea shooter.
