Great Britain playing at home, it's no surprise that it's wet out there.

  4. Fungus K Fung

    8:30

Steve Cambridge is tackled by David Dafter for Great Britain and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested and the Great Britain players pile in. I think he got a little isolated there, and they've turned the ball over here.
The next phase to be played from 19 metres on the Great Britain side of the halfway line.

Sam Verigotta is tackled by Brett Gemmell for the Australians and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested but the Australians are penalised for incorrect entry at the gate. Penalty to Great Britain

The next phase to be played from 19 metres on the Great Britain side of the halfway line.

Penalty to Great Britain to be taken by Ed Ames. From here, they're going to have a Kick for Touch. Great kick. That finds touch 16 metres upfield. The players run up to form the line out. Danger cleared.

The next phase to be played from 3 metres on the Great Britain side of the halfway line.

Australia looked set for a great attack there, but the tackle from Dafter followed by the offense at the breakdown from Gemmell wrecked the move.

  8. azzal AJ O'Neill

    Gemmel the tackling king.

Scrum to Australians. Great work by the Australians. They've secured their own ball and win that scrum gaining 5 metres.

The next phase to be played from 22 metres on the British side of the halfway line.

Dave Eggman is tackled by Marcuss Deane for the British and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested, but Verigotta is penalised for coming in the side of the ruck.

The next phase to be played from 22 metres on the British side of the halfway line.

Penalty to the Australians to be taken by Aaron Hunt. From here, they're going to have a Kick for Touch. Poor kick. He's failed to find touch there, and the British snap up the ball...

    Wow, Hunt, wow.

  11. azzal AJ O'Neill

 Hunt is such a shunt.

...Callum Laing with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 9 metres. Good Tackle by Dave Eggman and a ruck forms.

The next phase to be played from 25 metres on the British side of the halfway line.

Jordan Logan is tackled by League Lover for the Australian and a ruck forms. The ruck is contested and the Australian players pile in. I think he got a little isolated there, and they've turned the ball over here...

Interesting match here between the Hurricanes and Spartans.

    FUUUUUUUUUU

....Paddy Orr with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 2 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by John McGrath but he manages to offload to Aaron Hunt in time.

The next phase to be played from 29 metres on the British side of the halfway line.

Aaron Hunt with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 7 metres. It looks like he's going to be tackled by James McDougal but he evades the tackle and offloads to the onrunning Alistair Son.

The next phase to be played from 36 metres on the British side of the halfway line.

Alistair Son with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 7 metres. Callum Laing leaps on him and takes him down, but he'd already offloaded on the wraparound back to Aaron Hunt. Great vision by Son, surely a rehearsed move this one.

The next phase to be played from 43 metres on the British side of the halfway line.

Aaron Hunt with the ball on the run here. He's already gained 9 metres. That move by Son has given him all the space he needs!

    TRY TO Australians
Conversion attempt for the Australians. Kick to be taken by Aaron Hunt. Nah, that's sailed wide of the posts.

    Britain 0 - 5 Australia

20:00 Deep inside Australian territory here, and a scrum feed to the British. The front rows slam together and - wow, great shove from the Australians here. The Brits have been pushed back over the mark. Can they get the ball out? Yes. Pilgrim cleans the ball there from between Gemmell's legs. Pilgrim to Hunt and he darts at the line.

Hunt is wrapped up by McDougal, but the ball comes out very quickly. Pilgrim again picks up the scraps and throws a pass.

No! That's a massive dummy, and he's sold it superbly to Morris. A huge gap opens up and Pilgrim is through.

Just Logan to beat, but Pilgrim darts inside and catches Logan wrong-footed. He touches down under the posts! TRY!

    Great solo effort that one.

Hunt scuffs the kick and it barely makes it over a couple of metres high. Wide of the posts. No conversion.

    Britain 0 - 10 Australia
