    In your opinion, world's best 11 at the moment?

    IMO:

    GK: Gianluigi Buffon

    LB: Gael Clichy
    CB: Rio Ferdinand
    CB: Nemanja Vidic
    RB: Sergio Ramos

    LM: Cristiano Ronaldo
    CM: Xavi Hernandez
    CM: Kaka
    RM: Lionel Messi

    ST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
    ST: Fernando Torres

    This is hard. My formation would probably be 4-1-3-2

    GK:Buffon
    LB:Evra
    CB:Puyol
    CB:Vidic
    RB:Ramos
    CDM:Xavi
    LWM:Messi
    CAM:Gerrard
    RWM:Ronaldo
    ST:Ibrahimovic
    ST:Torres

    Mine would change every 10 minutes. Buffon, Messi and Ronaldo probably the only 3 guaranteed a spot.

    Yeah, guys like Evra, Lahm, Puyol, Alves, Iniesta, etc. were pretty close to making mine as well. But I think I got the balance right.

    I don't reckon you can do this with soccer as formations are not set in stone as in other football codes.

    Make your own formation. That's the best part of it... what's the best XI you can fit into any orthodox formation.

    Yeah, it's a matter of picking your best 11 players and shoving them into formation, or picking your best formation and following on from there. Atm the trend is 4-5-1, so I guess that'd be the place to start.

    11 players don't play Union, tennis, etc...

    I was going to specify but thought I didn't need to for this one.

    Yeah, if it was 4-5-1, I'd just get rid of Ibrahimovic and add Iniesta.

    Essien was extremely unlucky not to make my side. Went for Pirlo, but as I said, I'd probably change it again right now.

    One thing that worries a little me is the lack of South Americans in all these sides, probably suggesting that the game is more physical and less technical than ever.

    Mine is favourite as much as best because tbh if you don't have Foxtel you see SFA soccer besides the highlights.
