So... Force gets 4 of Tigers minutes and starts? Or Tiger can keep starting but needs a reduction in minutes as he's so inefficient or AVA can get an extra four minutes meaning Warrington picks up the spare minutes at 4 which isn't bad either. Cribb gets 4 of Con's minutes and starts? - This one should happen Lack of of good bigs really hurting us. Warrington is the only one
Yeah agree that Cribb needs some more time. Probably time for me to come back in for Tiger too. Might have to put myself on low defensive intensity though, so I don't foul out because that seems like a worry.
Worth noting that Goldenhaus' form in the last couple of games hasn't been flash so if Dyer performs well again then he probably deserves 4 of his minutes. Dyer and Warrington were our best last game and Dyer really tried to pick up the slack after Goldenhaus shunted it and then fouled out
Yeah, was thinking that. Really the problem is that people tend to perform in odd games and then not really again when we give them a starting sport/more minutes.
we're bad Warrington as primary shooter; he's in super form what to do now, we try the quicker tempo?
Tempo doesn't really change much tbh. I have to set it before the game - so yeah I can't change it in game and haven't noticed much difference.
Start Evans, drop Riddy to bench. Dyer also gives us a lot more defensively than Goldenhaus. So if Goldenhaus is shunting it on that end of the floor then reduce his minutes. He simply cannot guard the bigger wings with his size. Zaka destroyed him.
Nah Zaka is a swingman, way too undersized to play 4. He was actually matched for size with you but a common theme is that you don't defend well... I've noticed. Lewis, Evans and Dyer are probably the team's best defenders. Weeman is supposed to be good but he is turd. Mariner probably doesn't have time to think about defence because our offense is turd. tl;dr: we suck
I'm meant to be a good defender and a decent rebounder. So far I've fouled out of a couple of games, and probably secured about two rebounds in total. I haven't been dreadful at scoring (presumably inside the paint) or blocks, but that's about it really. FML this is what it's like to be bad at a sim.
Okay we are up against the Hurricanes next. Their main scorer is Wong, leads the team on points. I don't want him being guarded by Goldenhaus. I had a look at our previous games and whoever is guarded by Goldenhaus has more often than not gotten really hot. So we can either start Evans at 3 or just put a special instruction so he guards Wong. Evans has the size to guard him too and is the biggest guard in the team. Here's what we know: - Cribb is far and away our best point guard - Warrington is far and away our best all-round big - Force, Delonge and Tiger are probably our worst/most inconsistent players - annoying as they are all bigs so hard to drop them - Goldenhaus doesn't know how to play D - Riddy's productivity has declined Evans guards Wong. When Evans is off, Dyer guards Wong. Ridd max defensive intensity. Tiger despite being poo still spreads the floor. I'm just waiting till he turns into our Ryan Anderson. Tiger also turns it over much less than Force. Force being so TO prone is a huge liability. He had 5 last game. Force will most likely do a better job guarding Burger, though. All we need from Force is solid D, grab some boards and most importantly, not have butter fingers. Starting lineup: Lewis Goldenhaus (or Riddy) Evans Tiger (or Force) Warrington I think Tiger should start but have less minutes than Force. Force can come on when we have the better shooters on like Ridd and Con. Otherwise we literally have no outside threat in that lineup above with Ridd starting on the bench. Or we can start Force and Riddy and bench Goldenhaus and Tiger. Defensive lineup: Lewis Ridd Evans Force Warrington Those are my thoughts anyway. It's a struggle with this team.
