What NRL Teams would you not play for if you were an established First Grader?

    I know that everyone here would play for any team if given a contract but, if you were an established first grade player, what sides would you not go near, even if their contract was the best offered?

    Personally, I'd be steering clear of Canberra, Parramatta and Penrith.

    The Sydney sides and the Warriors I guess. Not that I hate the Warriors or anything, just that I wouldn't want to live in that state of Australia. Possibly the Cowboys as well, too far away from civilization.

    Career could be affected by where you live though - might not enjoy it as much/be distracted and not perform as well.

    Purely career wise I'd try to play for either Melbourne or Brisbane. Melbourne seems to get the most out of their players, and Brisbane seems to be the go to place for picking Origin players.

    You wouldn't play for Penrith, NQ, Canberra or NZ.

    Rest are passable though tbh.

    I wouldn't play for any club other than Manly even if it meant not getting a first grade spot, regardless of what incentives were on offer.
