Lol Todd Payten is a fucking retard. If he were a Titans player though, both of those would've been penalties. We got destroyed so bad by the refs after the 10th minute. Our handling was terrible and we made way too many errors, but 90% of our penalties were bullshit. Greg Bird can't hold on to the football properly, but if you tackle him and your arm goes anywhere near the ball - it's instantly a strip? Wtf? The way the Titans butchered the play the ball was amazing. Almost every play the ball, the Tigers player would get up. Stand for 2 or 3 seconds, a player like Friend or Henderson or some shit would just lie there and refuse to move and the Tigers player would just step back and play it or play it there and they'd make no effort to move. Also, how does Zillman get a penalty for biting Meaney's hand? WTF? So now you can bite someone, provoke them and you earn a penalty. Michael knocks on, one of the only knock ons they decide wasn't a strip, Dwyer picks it up and would've scored near the sticks and then out of the blue they decide he was held when he lost it falling? Huh? This was just the most awful and inept refereeing performance I've seen in ages. We definitely should have won despite it because the Titans are that shit, but Sheens is also that fucking shit and we need help. I want to rip his balls off and fucking strangle him with the scrotum skin. Oh, and did they change the rule that you can lose it into the defending player and regather? Explains how Zillman's try was awarded...
Those two things have pretty much always been called that way this season. PRetty much every second stripping penalty is a joke. And players in the play the ball is always happening. Harsh, but consitent. Also, players losing the ball is pretty much a toss of the coin whether they penalise or not. The first one was just dropped imo, he lost it like a second after all Titans players were off him. The second one could have gone either way, but FMD, he deserves to have it go against him for lacking common sense.
Yeah, we were fucking shit. We scored 2 jammy tries at the start and pretty much played like dick the rest of the game. We were just kept in it by the Titans being that shit. The Titans really have nothing.
