    So after watching 8 seasons of entourage this week I have come to the realization I have no TV shows to watch now.

    Finished Homeland. A slow burn show like that really needed a strong finale. This didn't have that. Feels like they're trying to milk the scenario for another season or 2. Thought the directing was poor at times and some of the acting was bottom of the barrel. Claire Danes is immense though and held the whole show together.

    Yeah absolutely. I was really hoping they'd finish off the current situation and then start with something entirely new next season, still involving the CIA and/or Carrie but separate from Brody. It seems they decided they couldn't do it without the Brody situation being central though, so they've stretched it out. A shame.

    Started watching The Wire last week and couldn't get into it at first. It grows on you and becomes awesome quickly. Finished season 1.

    Yeah there is no doubt that they should have either given him up or something even crazier had him defuse the bomb blow everyone the fuck up and go from there. I hope season 2 isn't exactly the same where they are just trying to figure it out. I mean at least for the first half of season 1 we weren't sure whether he was or not so I can't see a whole season of them chasing him being interesting. Something has to happen.

    Yeah I watched the first 20 minutes of the first episode and I paused it as I cbf watching the rest at the time. I don't think I bothered to continue watching that episode until about a month later. Got hooked from then on though.

    Well it wasn't exactly from the first episode it takes a few episodes to get into no doubt. Worth it though. Easily the best tv series I have ever watched.

    Kind of going against the thread but super excited for;

    New season of survivor starting on Wednesday (can't help but still watch it)
    New season of celebrity apprentice starting this Sunday
    New season of East Bound and Down starting this Sunday

    Oh and the new season of mad men which doesn't start for like another 6 weeks. Fucking been ages since it has been on.
