    Apparently Saints are now the frontrunners for Jake Carlisle.

    Wonder what they'll offer up in a trade. Pick 5 overs, especially given he's OOC and has an ASADA ban hanging over his head, but Pick 23 or whatever is significant unders. And they don't have the same sort of PSD leverage that Carlton has.

    Also odd that Brisbane are apparently nabbing both Bell and Jansen. I wouldn't have thought their midfield was in need of adding to that much, especially on the inside (though one big-bodied mid would be a requirement). Might it mean that Bell -> Gold Coast, especially given they'll have more tradeable commodoties to Carlton?

    Kolodjashnij will be on the untouchables list. Horlin-Smith just re-signed too, so I doubt him also.

    In the end they'll take anything that'll better the first rounder they'll get for compensation. So maybe our 1st rounder will do as it'll be higher than theirs.

    Adelaide will want heaps though, knowing that Geelong will take him at a premium price.

    Worst case scenario, Adelaide match Geelong's offer, Danger declines that offer and gets snatched up by Carlton in the draft for chips.

    How? Because we weren't willing to pay overs for a bloke that has "good potential"? He has had nothing but troubles since we drafted him, i wish we'd have kept him as he could be a star if fully fit, but that's no reason to pay overs for a bloke in hope that he stays injury free.
