there was a play early in the game where he punched someone in the head just with a small jab at the end of a ruck. He made me a fan in that single instant.

We need a new hard man.

    home town call.

Argentina robbed a try. Shocking call.

Btw was Barrett injured? Don't understand subbing him off so early if he wasn't.

hahaha did anyone just see that yellow card? haha

That was a piss weak yellow. No excuses for the ref - the touchie even convinced him to check the replay and he still gave it. Ridiculous.

At least he made the right call on the obstruction on Etzebeth.

That hit on Slipper was amazing - SA not as good as last year's team though.

  7. Rego RS Hutchinson

That yellow card cost SA the game tbh.

I could agree with that and point you in the direction of my home town reffing thread but at the end of the day bad decisions are nothing new in rugby,
They are part of the game.

With two minutes to go SA should have kicked that penalty out and they didn't find touch. Inexcusable.

Also why bring on Patrick Lambie for Roussow when down to 14 men. Lambie couldn't tackle his way out of a paper bag.

SA really should be blaming themselves.

This was the worst call of the weekend by far. And I tell you what, if that try was awarded, it would have been a completely different ball game. I am not saying the Argies would have won, but it would have been much closer than it was in the end, having their tails up etc.

Played a part in costing us the game, that's for sure. But, Morne Steyn's inability to execute basics and kick the fucking ball out when you win a penalty on your line goal line with 3 minutes to play surely was the killer. Then he was also the one to miss the first up tackle leading directly to that very try. #FuuuuuuuuuuMorneSteyn

    This.

And: If the Boks messed with the Aussie pack like that, imaging what the Argies are going to do with them when looking how they also dominated the AB scrum on the weekend. Expect a scrum yellow for at least one Aussie fatty.

    Hurricane's betting tip

Take a 5 multi on NZ and Aussie to both cover a 7 point spread.

Yeah - I don't have the energy for sharing this fellow's point of view. I got really bent out of shape about the Bismark yellow card last year. I had looked forward to the game for a month and the ref decided it instead of the players.

It just seems to happen (bad decisions) and it is just part of the game.

Bright start from the ABs, just had't converted their territorial advantage to more than the one pen & the Boks make them pay. Beautiful set up and lovely line from Hendricks.

Intelligent play from the new SA stand off to make the hole he exploited.

Le Roux not having the best day for handling. Two he's coughed up now with no real pressure on him.

Habana has lost a yard of gas too, IMHO.

    Agreed.

Have to take your hat off to the SA defence, but absolute stalwarts so far.

Be a monumental effort if they can keep it up for 80 if the ABs continue having this much play in their half and 22.

    Ha, as if by magic.

Beautiful vision from Cruden and super play from Reed to feed the great man.

SA 15 did very well then

Going blind at the end there was dumb

Bad game. Cruden needs to start looking for gaps, so sick of him turning the ball back on the inside into traffic or running into defenders himself. The kick was excellent but outside of that......
