  1. Mr Fourex MR Fourex

Still though, his hands let him down again on more than one occasion.

I can only remember seeing him drop one tbh. And my app has him with 1 error.

I thought the 2011 qualifying final against Brisbane would have stuck in Manu's memory more than the Eels game he spoke about.

Fuck he had a shocker ....his constant handling errors were comical to watch. 40-10 score line was certainly no laughing matter for the warrior team though .....

He's played 200 games FFS. Of course he's had a few shockers. He has had a hell of a lot more blinders.

Why is it when you see stuff like that you share the pain?

    Ouch...

Most tries by a kiwi in the NRL now with 141, overtaking Nigel Vagana.

    WAG.

So the great man has re-signed with the Warriors - and the terms of his deal are set to make him one of the longest serving NRL players of all time.

    :toot:

He has agreed to a new three-year contract, which will keep him at Mt Smart until the end of the 2018 season.

    :punk:

That will mean he will accumulate at least 15 seasons at the same club, a feat few others have managed in the history of the NRL. If the 29-year-old completes the next three years, he will join some of the most illustrious names in the sport.
Andrew Ettinghausen tops the list, having spent 18 years at the Sharks after he made his debut in 1983 as an 18-year-old schoolboy.

    :clapping:

The incomparable Darren Lockyer amassed 17 seasons at the Broncos while Jason Croker was a fixture at the Raiders for 16 years between 1991 and 2006. Nathan Hindmarsh (Parramatta) is the only other player to spend at least 15 years in the same team and Vatuvei could eventually surpass famous one-club names like Cliff Lyons (Manly, 14 seasons), Anthony Minichiello (Roosters, 14), Hazem El Masri (Bulldogs, 14) and Steve Menzies (Sea Eagles, 13).

It's a tribute to his remarkable longevity since he made his first grade debut as an 18-year-old in May 2004. With 201 matches under his belt, he is also on track to overtake Stacey Jones' record 261 games for the Warriors.

    :notworthy:

Vatuvei remains of huge value on and off the field, and the respect he has within the sport was illustrated during his 200th game celebrations.

    :drunk:

Yeah none of that changes the fact that he's a goose.

6 tries and broken 37 tackles this season – the most in the NRL – and is averaging 133 metres a game.

    WAG.

  16. Benny BS Read

Ball skills of a lesbian. as he slows down even further through the next few seasons itll become a horrible contract

  17. Benny BS Read

Hes one of those guys who admittedly can win you a game but is just as likely too lose it for you. The fact he'll be clogging cap space and holding back young promising outside backs that the Warriors always have an abundance of is lols

  18. BigGuns DA Astele

He is a club icon, a one club man that is the face of the Warriors. You can't put a value on that and the Warriors don't have any issues with there cap, plenty left over.

  19. Fiery GR Smith

Lol. What a load of bollocks, Benny. It just guarantees that we have at least one decent winger on one side of the field, breaking tackles, scoring plenty of tries and churning up metres in general play.

His resigning also means the younger blokes at the club have someone to aspire to and learn from for the next 3 years. How to train and eat properly etc. How to be a great Warrior basically.
