    yeah but that has nothing to do with how they are as players honestly? they both won a comp, a handful of origin series', played for australia and both played over 250 first grade games? what more do you want to achieve as a professional rugby league player?

    Poore definitely but not Shackleton.

    Shackleton was a pretty underrated front rower who changed clubs and then suffered a horrific injury before clashing with an incompetent coach. His career was never going to amount to much more than a strong bench player, which he had already accomplished at the Roosters. His career has wound up a bit earlier than I expected but the same is true for dozens of other journeyman around the NRL.

    TBF, he basically was anonymous for six years. The fact he was able to turn himself to a quality first grader and a New Zealand international after so many years without playing NRL is crazy.

    Speaking of mormon missions and could've beens, Will Hopoate isn't even a shadow of the player he promised to be.
