I think I watched about 30 seconds worth of that game and still managed to get pissed off by the commentary twice.

 

Good win for Italy.

Mexico were pretty poor tbh.

 

Who got the 2nd? Been watching the golf.

 

Too easy for Spain so far.

 

Hopefully for the finals we just get European refs, too many shit cunt Asian and African refs who don't know the rules.

 

I reckon it is more the pressure of these bigger competitions that get to them. They'll have to pass all the same exams etc as the European refs at that standard. Would probably be quite good to see FIFA putting money into trying to get them into Champions League matches so they can get the experience on the biggest stage. Especially in Africa there aren't enough big matches for them to get the required experience outside of the AFCON and look at how much of a flop the refs were there. The Asians have less of an excuse IMO.

 

Why ruin the Champions League?

The World Cup should have the best refs. That means Europeans.

 

Really, hope United get Thiago.

Interest in him probably increased after today even more among all clubs.

 

Thank god he has a release clause or his price would likely double
