    If this happened to you at any level of sport (bitten by an opponent) would you not try and belt the fuck out of them?

    I can't fight my way out of a paper bag but if an opposition player bit me I'd be trying to knock the cunt out and I'd expect all of my team mates to have my back.

    how has this cunt not been flogged? And how is he still a pro?

    Once was stupid enough but to do it twice after receiving the first punishment as a professional is just downright the most idiotic thing you could possibly do if you were him.

    I would definitely feel like throwing a punch but I don't think I actually would in that situation because that isn't the sort of thing I would do either. I'd complain and all and push him away but I don't think in that sort of situation I actually would, as much as I'd like to.

    It's the third time he's done it. Did it when playing for Ajax and had a 7 game ban, then for Liverpool and now for Uruguay.


    Chiellini's a seasoned pro, which is probably why Suarez wasn't punched. Had it been Balotelli that he had bitten, I've no doubt that punches would have been thrown.

    He's still a pro because he's one of the best strikers in the world.

    Being on the world stage in professional sport makes it much different from a local game. If it were in a local game and someone bit someone, no doubt a rumble would start. In the World Cup or in the Premier League, with professionals it's much different.

    The fact he's still a pro comes down to him being one of the best players in the world, if it was some up and coming kid playing for Iran that had bitten someone, his career would be over.

    Regardless, absolutely disgusting. I have been in a rugby game where someone in my side was bitten. Needless to say, there was a fight - and we were like 12.

    I'm not saying he shouldn't be punished or I agree, I'm just outlining the reason why what has happened in the past, has happened.

    I think he should certainly get some kind of ban, you can't get away with doing this shit, even more so on the world stage.

    But he's been punished before and it's not worked. I remember reading a stat that said that he's been banned for something like 25 games without receiving a red card.


    He had a 7 match ban for biting when playing at Ajax, 8 match ban for racial abuse against Evra and 10 match ban for biting Ivanovic. So yeah, 25 matches without receiving a red card. He also headbutted a ref when he was 15.
