So it's OK to have a tiny halfback, but it's not to have a small fullback?

What is wrong with your backline? Jennings.
I watched the game tonight. The refereeing was a disgrace. QLD should have put 50 on easily.

Yeah, the reffing was about as good as NSW. They were trying to keep "Origin alive" I guess. :p

It was ****ing pathetic. O'Donnell should have been sent.

Brett Hodgson was heaps good at Origin wasn't he.....

What is with the Jennings hate seriously? All this talk about him being so shit is really getting annoying. His poor defence isn't even an excuse anymore.
cue he is a black ****

Alfie Langer was heaps good too.

There is no Jennings hate, it's just you overrated him like no tomorrow. You name him in all your origin teams when he's clearly not up to it.

B&H was fine, apart from the pass to Lockyer.

There is no Jennings hate from me, he just isn't in the top 5 centres for NSW.

Whats with all the Jennings love? Oh yeah, he is a panther.

    *cough* Lawrence *cough*

    Interesting stat.

    Tackles/misses
    Qld: 241/32
    NSW: 354/36

Way too many missed tackles from us.

  13. Alec AD Funkotron

Yeah, but every time someone misses one, there are about 12 cover defenders coming through to tackle the bloke.

Still not good though. It's not like NSW have any damaging runners. Apart from Lockyer being smashed by Creagh all night.

  15. Alec AD Funkotron

Lockyer is way past it, NSW need to keep picking Creagh to run at him, they will dominate.

You'll all love me for this Union comparison :p

That case was just as bad if not worse and they got away with it because it was the beginning of the series and they wanted to keep it "alive" I think...can't help but think it was similar situation here, but they wanted Origin to go to the last game, which frankly wasn't going to happen the way NSW performed regardless of the refereeing.

Compare at your own will and enjoy the fight after :p

EDIT: O Driscoll spear tackle won't load on here....so Youtube it yourself but you get my point.

21st minute, NSW raid down the right. A slight overlap and Boyd shows Monaghan and Morris how it's done. Jams in on Scott and absolutely smashes him. Great tackle but well done by Scott to get the offload away.

I bet this was the same last year as well even when he was in red hot form and played Origin. I could understand why he missed out on Origin 2 but I just find it ridiculous that the selectors where able to pick a replacement for Tahu who had only played 3 NRL games this season when there are players like Burt and Merritt who never get noticed. They then pick players in the backline with no attacking flair and who is suppose to be a defensive god and than fails to live up to what he was meant to do.

I am deadset serious about this backline and I am pretty sure it would have a better chance of scoring tries than Wednesday nights backline.
Dugan, Morris, Jennings, Lyon, Hayne is seriously the way to go. Tahu hasn't been great this season either and I could understand him being selected for Game 1 but he did nothing. Its my opinion and I expect it to get smashed because its me.

    Just pick Lawrence then.

He's just as good as Jennings in attack and can actually defend as well.
