The second match of the round sees Season 2's champions take on the other debutants in Seasonal Rugby. This should be a fantastic clash between two evenly matched teams:

A great line-up here from the Spartans. No weak links on display and with 5 top players, who'll be keen for end of season international action in their scrum, they'll be tough to defeat up front. The back line boasts some incredible attacking flair in Schaw, Farnsworth and Blunder but a potential weak link lies in their Centres where the Sharks will contest with the trailblazing combo of Golding & Graham.

Again, I like this line up from the Sharks. They've got a couple of my players to watch for this season in the front row in Dafter and Welker and their 2nd row is outstanding. Inferior to the Spartans on the back row, but we'll have to see how this match up translates into performance in the set piece. Their back row lacks some of the flair of the Spartans line, but there's a solidity in it that's hard to dislike.

I'm actually keen to see how Blunder goes so I can compare with him.

Blunder was superb in the pre-season. A class apart from t'other full backs, tbf.

Even if he played wing for most of it.

Yeah, hence why I want to see how he'll go in this game. I didn't really follow the pre-season that much.

Not all the pre-season testing was reported on the forum, as it happens.

    Sharks to win obviously.

    Should be a stunner though.

  8. Doog J McDougal

Can't wait for this. Sharks to edge it if the underperformers from the preseason up their game.

    Should have a MotM option.

Would make for a very large betting sheet...

Should have a shut the hell up option.
