OK, I know its a long way off, but a concern with this is it longevity. I mean what happens after season 1 is completed and Jaxx are announced the premiers of season 1? Anyway, ive been thinking: For Season 2, we all keep the same squads going into the next season, but there is an opportunity to release any players that are not wanted by your club, lets say a 1-2week period where this can take place. Players that are going to be released are posted in the 'Released Players Thread', so that all managers are aware of those released. This way the competition will seen as a lot more realistic and the clubs will get some history etc etc. After this 1-2week period of player releasing, we roll on into the 'Draft Period', where teams who have released any players complete in a draft. For eg. Diamond Jaxx RLFC - Have released 4 players Sharks RLFC - have released 7 players Magpies RLFC - have released 1 player Black Sheep RLFC - have released 3 players Gamblers RLFC - have released 1 player Lets say for this example no other teams released any players. So we will have this: Rd 1 Draft Order: (randomized obv) 1. Black Sheep 2. 'Jaxx 3. Gamblers 4. Sharks 5. Magpies (Picking one player each, obv) After the completion of the RD 1 draft, two teams have become 'Full' (Magpies and Gamblers), they are now dropped from the draft list and the list is again randomized for RD 2. Order for RD 2 1. 'Jaxx 2. Sharks 3. Black Sheep Etc etc, with teams dropping out when full. Draft process continues till all teams are back up to 40man squads. After this, Rob will update the Player Database, depending on decline in skill, improve in skill, older age, etc etc. This will (probably) take 1-2 weeks (Guess?). Then Season 2 will be ready to begin . During this whole period Trading is welcome, etc etc. Thoughts? Questions? CareCups?
We'll probably be able to pick rookies from 2010. In other words, I don't think season 2 will be here any time soon.
