    We seem to be getting really crazy odds for many matches, better than the Spartan outfit, and then lose while Sparta remains undefeated this season (iirc). Is the spread distribution really that wide? Surely we should have then seen the Crabs put 50 points on someone by now?

    The odds are based primarily on activity and post ranks. The Crabs have more than their fair share of awful registrations (c.f. Howe, KATA, Furball etc.) and may have been less lucky with the random factor. The odds don't take the random factor into account at all.
