66:30: A great surging run from Stroud from 20m out ends only as he faces down Kelvin Fung. However, Stroud manages to offload, and a couple of passes later, Welker slams over the line and scores for the Sharks.

A tough conversion for Scoble, but he nails it and it curls just inside the far post

72:30: A good throw by Morris at a line out on the Hurricanes 5m line is won by Samuel Yates at the back of the line out. Yates puts his head down and drives for the line. A dispirited Hurricanes defence fails to deal with Yates, and the Sharks score their fifth try.

77:30 The last scoring play of the match arises from slow, patient build up from the Hurricanes forwards. The Sharks successfully clear their lines, but Graham attempts to run the ball out of the defensive line and is tackled by Read who wins the turnover.

Several phases of rucks result as the Canes make slow progress towards the line. Eventually, with the line beckoning, the ball comes out to the substitute, Rogers, who gets down over the line.

Actually, in the 2nd half, the game was much closer than it appeared. Possession was 55/45 to the Sharks, Territory 52/48 to the Canes. A much improved 2nd half. Also, Kazzaa did well and Nova proved useful off the bench.
